I guess each age has always been concerned with making things relevant. A theme at SHS is relevance and rigor. Jesus was able to make all He spoke relevant to the many varied people that He came in contact with. He was so in tune with His father that He did and spoke only what His Father commanded Him to do. Today with all the technology and methods that we use hoping to make God's Word relevant, it is so easy to get caught up in the preparation and bypass our Father and all His glory. We should first seek to be so in tune with our Father that we do only what He commands us to do. When we accomplish this goal, our message and ministries will always be relevant and will meet the individual needs of our congregations. Our God is still the I AM and the CREATOR. This God gives us access to His creative abilities as we seek His face and put Him first in our lives. Isn't it exciting to serve such an awesome God? And when it is evident that He plans our services, we can stand back in awe and marvel at all that He has done. He will get all the praise and glory, not us.

Let all the people praise Thee
Let the nations rejoice
We are fearfully and wonderfully made
Let all the people praise Thee
Let the whole wide world be glad
For we are fearfully and wonderfully made
Let all the people praise Thee
Let every heart proclaim
We are fearfully and wonderfully made
The earth shall yield her increase
and God our God shall bless
For we are fearfully and wonderfully made
The Lord is our shepherd
He fills our every need
We stand in His presence
We lift up our voices and sing
Let all the world acknowledge Him
and praise His Holy Name
For we are fearfully and wonderfully made
We are fearfully and wonderfully made
