Why does the “church” fall into the nature of traditional rituals?

There seems to be an overwhelming tendency to employ man-made traditions/rituals in our churches (at Lakewood too). The practices are common and undoubtedly of innocent intention. Nevertheless, I fear that overlooked dangers are present by utilizing routine customs that have been ultimately accepted and not taken earnestly before God in prayer. I pray that God will reveal to “the body of Christ” the hindrances and dangers that are existing in our "churches" today.
